What is an F1B Goldendoodle?

At Solis Goldendoodles, we raise F1B Standard Goldendoodles. Goldendoodles are a designer mix of a Standard Poodle and Golden retriever. F1Bs are essentially 75% Poodle and 25% Golden Retriever.

F1Bs are desirable because they're generally the most allergy friendly of the Goldendoodle combinations. You can expect a large dog with Goldendoodles typically weighing in between 60-90lbs. They have a wavy to curly coat with little to no shedding, but keep in mind they have hair rather than fur, so Goldendoodles do require regular brushing and grooming.

It is well known that Goldendoodles make excellent companions, service animals, and even great hunting dogs with thier high retrieval drive from both the Poodle and Golden Retriever genes.

Goldendoodles are easy to train and eager to please, making them an excellent choice for those new to dog ownership.

Goldendoodles are great with children and do well with other animals. They're highly intelligent and intuitive to thier owners needs and thrive on human affection and attention.
